SERVICES - General Sparkly Music offers modest music production services The sounds of Sparkly Music is created within a sophisticated hard- and software-based environment, based around a Tascam DM3200 32-channel digital mixing desk connected to a PC running Steinberg's Cubase 4 audio-MIDI sequencer.  The studio space comprises a carpeted, oak-beamed room of around 4.5m x 5.5m within a 270 year-old dairy located in the wooded downlands of West Sussex.  The thick 'clunch' walls of the cottage provide all the soundproofing that's needed, while 'Auralex' wedges provide acoustic treatment to optimise recording, mixing and mastering. Though the primary function of the studio is to create the music of Sparkly Music, some services are offered on a commercial basis, particularly mixing (or re-mixing) and mastering.  Recording can be offered, but only on a small scale, e.g. solo musicians or acoustic duets or similar.  Please contact Sparkly Music by email for more information.
