Song title:  FRIGHTENING WORLD

I really like the song, with a little more tweaking it will be a "number one". Cubase Music Lounge March 2008

I really enjoyed this song.  It's first class all the way.  Hats off to you! Tascam Forums March 2008

Song title: CONSCIOUSNESS OF MIRRORS

Wow! C-net listening of the week. Cool Great intro and beckoning melody. Mix very warm and dreamy. Vox is awesome. Cubase Forums (April 2007).

Wow! I like this as much as anything I've heard for a long time Cubase Forums (April 2007).

Excellent stuff. Totally agree, the vox is stunning. Cubase Forums (May 2007).

Another belter, mate! I think this one sounds a bit like Calvert-era Hawkwind, only with a much more slick electronica edge to it. Really dense, deep textures, great vocal layering, and I really like the freaky vocal section in the middle with the pitch alteration! Sound on Sound Forum, May 2007.

A very accomplished outing. Great sound. Sounds so effortless.  Move over Thomas Dolby, Ren is here.  It's great that you're able to vary your songwriting and recording style so much. Sound on Sound Forum, May 2007.

Song title:  WHAT?

AWESOME song Ren! It totally drew me in, hypnotized me, held me spell-bound the whole time.  I'm serious! That's radio-ready IMHO. Nice job!

All in all, another great effort, you have a style and I'm a fan of it. Sound on Sound Forum (Jan 2007).

"Great balance and production here.  Well thought out, fearless and inventive.  You kept from going overboard with the sounds and effects, well done!  Good work, very original, very thought provoking!  Sounds a lot likeFloyd and some Beatles!"  Tascam Forums (Jan 2007) .

Song title: BIG ARSE!

".. you crazy twisted madman! Well, you've done it again.  Totally insane, and very, very funny! Nice work.  Loved the guitar sounds and vocals sound spot on as usual.  All in all, another classic from the colourful imagination of Mr. Capes - how the hell do you do it?"  Sound on Sound Music Lounge (Sep 2006).

Song title: YOUR BONNET

"This is pretty darn cool dude...  vocals are wild...  so is the acoustic guitar...  great work...".  Sound on Sound Music Lounge (Feb 2006)

"You've obviously put a great deal of work into this and it shows with the finished production. There's a nice pro-sound to the mix and the balance of instruments is just right. I liked the drums and the bass, both keeping the whole track pinned down nicely, and the guitar playing is extremely proficient (I assume it's your good self?).   Yep, overall I thought it was a great track and I'll have a listen to a few more of the songs you've got up on your site."  Computer Music Lounge (Jan 2006)

Song title: SHE GETS IT

"Musically this is great!  1.26s guitar solo is brilliant."  Computer Music Lounge (Jan 2006)

"I listened and loved it. You're another one of those people here who remind me of how mediocre my music is!" Cubase Music Lounge (Jan 2006).

"I've been listening to this a couple of times now. I think this is a very strong conposition and it's performed with so much drive." Cubase Music Lounge (Jan 2006).

Song title: JIGIT!

"Sounds nice and phat and funky here - very polished. Love your break down around 2:10.  Guitar still a bit chorused for me. You know... the end of this song is great".  Cubase Music Lounge (Dec 2005).
